Principal Investigator:
Prof. Weinan Xu
Weinan Xu is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at the University of Akron. He received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015 and did postdoctoral research (2016-2019) in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He was recognized with several awards, including DARPA Young Faculty Award, Polymer Processing Society Early Career Award, Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Award from the American Chemical Society, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from Sigma Xi and Georgia Tech.
